Transforming Lives with Music

Yuva Music Festival (YMF), the flagship initiative of the Musicea Arts and Culture Council, was founded in 2014 by Maestro Surendranath Majumdar. Conceived as a free, non-profit international platform, YMF is open to learners, amateurs, professionals, and music enthusiasts from across the globe. Guided by the vision “Transforming Lives with Music” and the mission “Music for All”, the festival has supported and nurtured thousands of young artists—many of whom have gone on to become celebrated performers.

A Global & Inclusive Cultural Movement

Over the years, Yuva Music Festival has evolved into one of the world’s most diverse and inclusive music festivals. Participants are free to express themselves through any musical form or genre. Hosted annually, the festival features national and international concerts, performances, masterclasses, seminars, and symposiums—creating an environment of artistic exchange and creative excellence.

The festival receives support from embassies, consulates, global music educators, schools, NGOs, government institutions, Indian defence establishments, cultural organizations, and renowned artists. Children and youth from elite institutions perform alongside participants from grassroots communities, NGOs, and differently-abled backgrounds—united by the joy of music and positive thinking.

Expanding Creative Horizons

In 2021, Yuva Music Festival expanded its vision to include Dance and Yoga, reinforcing its holistic, interdisciplinary approach to the arts. Today, the festival stands as a global networking platform for students, educators, and emerging artists to collaborate, learn, and exchange ideas across borders.
