Violin Exam

The violin syllabus offers wide-ranging musical periods and genres. The syllabus aims at promoting and enriching different cultures and traditions balanced with international techniques and standard practices. The progressive and open syllabus of Musicea allows candidates to select and play compositions of their favourite composers. Musicea recommends candidates look beyond a specific publication for examination. Musicea encourages candidates to explore sheet music from the different periods and composers available on digital platforms and with reputed publishers.

The syllabus enables candidates of all levels and abilities to demonstrate their skills in a way that suits their individual needs as learners. The syllabus is flexible and progressive. The prescribed items are optional. A candidate may choose items of similar standards from any standard publication of their choice. The prescribed repertoire suggest available well-known publishers, either book or digital.
